4. Click on the Browse button and select the drive or folder to scan. Click OK until you

return to the On-Demand Scan Properties window. Click Start to start the scan.

If you wish to save the scan settings to use for future scans, click the Save As button. Enter a

task name for the new scan (for example, “Scan Drive C”) and click OK. The newly created task

will appear in VirusScan Console.

To run the new task, open VirusScan Console, right click on the task and click Start.

You can also schedule the new task (follow directions in “Configuring Full Scan Task”) if you scan this

location routinely.
